Trevor's Trip to New Orleans



New Orleans is where Janome held it's International Institute for it's dealers. There were over 1000 people from all over the world at this event. Trevor presented classes on digitizing and Stitchitize had a booth.

In the photo below on the left you can see George and Trevor in their Mardi Gras Masks while setting up for the show. In the middle is Trevor and Brian Kelly of Janome America. Looking GQ guys! On the right Trevor is with Janome dealers, Mark Phillips, Brad Johnson and Steven Rice golfing in the rain.


Out and about the city there are beautiful buildings to see. As usual, Trevor made some friends and this time it was some Red Hat gals, see photo below. Taking a trolly is a great way to see a bit of the city. We took the St Charles car and saw the most amazing homes. On the right is a photo of a famous St Louis Cathedral.
 
A night out on Bourbon Street is a bonanza of sights and sounds. Every building is a bar and music of all types emits from the bars and into the street. The Party seemed to go forever and till all hours of the night. In the photo's below on the right is Trevor and Lorna blowing you a kiss from Bourbon Street. David Manerika of Janome Canada is on the harmonica at the legendary Blues Club and on the right is Lorna and with Bonnie with a legendary Blue Lady.

We had only been home about a week when hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans. Our hearts go out to all of the people who were affected by this tragedy.
