Lots of Snow in January

January brought lots of snow to Saskatoon this year. After clearing the drive in front of our house there are huge piles of snow. For kids this means a lot of fun and games. Here you can see Lauren and Nicholas with hockey sticks in hand at the top of a pile of snow that is easily twice their height. Along with the snow we have had very cold weather of between minus 25C and minus 40C. Burrr!!! We don't let that stop the fun but as you can see we bundle up well.
Trevor's trip to Norway.
Jon and Marie
(shown in the photos left and right) promote and sell Janome in Scandinavia. They invited Trevor to the Janome Nordic Institute in Oslo to help promote embroidery. As you can see below Stitchitize has digitized a collection of designs with a Scandinavian Theme.
Jon and Marie were very nice hosts and took Trevor to see some sights around Oslo. Their office is in Dramen and there are some photos of both places below. All of the people Trevor met from Scandinavia were very nice, especially Jon and Marie's staff. Visit their web site at JANOME.SE.
