Spring comes in March but winter is having second thoughts about leaving. We have had an extra long winter this year with the snow still falling late in March. The first snow fell early in October and never did melt so we have had over 6 months with snow on the ground. Saskatoon had 40% more snow than our average and it is melting very slow. Its better that way or we may end up with flooded basements. We will be glad to see the snow finally gone and are looking forward to spring and it's flowers. We keep busy in the winter with activities. Lauren and Nicholas take swimming lessons over the winter. Nicholas takes gymnastics and Lauren is in ballet/jazz. We all love to go ice skating as a family. Trevor plays soccer all year round and this winter Lorna took it easy with a new baby growing in her tummy. The baby is due early in May so you can expect to see some photos of the new baby soon.

The Junos are Canadas music awards and they are going to be an exciting evening hosted by Nelly Furtado live from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan! There will be performances by Alexisonfire, Billy Talent, City and Colour, DJ Champion, Gregory Charles, k-os, host and performer Nelly Furtado, Patrick Watson, The Tragically Hip, and Three Days Grace! Trevor and Lorna are stoked for the evening as they have tickets to the event.
